The Split Wall
The Split Wall is a site-specific installation located in a once occupied apartment in suburban Pittsburgh. The installation uses photography and readymade sculpture to examine how the unrealized promises of consumer-driven socio-political ideologies shaped notions of intimacy within domestic space.
The installation explores the ways walls—both literal and metaphorical—mediate relationships and create boundaries that simultaneously conceal and reveal.
The Split Wall opens February 7th, 2025 at Blankspace in Pittsburgh, PA. The installation will coincide with the release of a limited edition artist book.
