The Split Wall

The Split Wall is a site-specific installation located in a once occupied apartment in suburban Pittsburgh. The installation uses photography and readymade sculpture to examine how the unrealized promises of consumer-driven socio-political ideologies shaped notions of intimacy within domestic space.

The installation explores the ways walls—both literal and metaphorical—mediate relationships and create boundaries that simultaneously conceal and reveal.
